Local Practice Groups

Local Practice Groups

There are four Local Practice Groups which cover the Cambridgeshire area and these are: Cambridgeshire City and South Cambridgeshire; East Cambridgeshire; Fenland and Huntingdon. Each Group co-ordinates and facilitate a number of workshops, spread throughout the year, which have current themes surrounding local Safeguarding issues for children, young people and their parents and carers.

The two hour workshops give an excellent opportunity to find out more about local safeguarding issues and current initiatives, to reflect on your own practice and provide a rare occasion to network with other agencies to discuss and share practice, experiences and ideas.

The workshops are open to anyone, from voluntary and statutory agencies within any area within Cambridgeshire, who work with children and young people and/or the parents and carers of children and young people.

All Local Practice Groups workshops are FREE
