Young People who display Sexually Harmful Behaviour

Target Audience: 

A half day course, for all those professionals (voluntary and statutory) who work regularly with children and families, and/or adults who are parents/carers and for those who have a greater degree of role accountability and responsibility for safeguarding children’s welfare (Groups 2, 3 and 4). Staff members from police, social care, health and localities are particularly encouraged to attend.

Please be aware that the course will have explicit course content which some participants may find distressing 

  • To provide Professionals with an overview of the Cambridgeshire Sexual Behaviour Service, referral pathways, Aim assessments, interventions and consultancy 
Learning Outcomes: 
  • Professionals to gain an understanding of what is sexually harmful behaviour with children and young people 
  • To give an insight into how to manage risk using a multi agency approach
